STUDENT ACCOMMODATION

All our student properties are let as a whole house with a single agreement on which all tenants renting the property will be named. This is known as 'Joint and Several' liability and means that each tenant is not only individually liable but also potentially liable for all tenant obligations under that agreement. For example if one member of the group fails to pay their share of the rent, the other members would be equally liable for any arrears, and it is up to the other tenants, not the landlord to collect from the non paying tenant. Therefore, any applications must be submitted as a pre-formed group.
